Hi there! My name is Brian, and I'm a UI/UX designer, software engineer and blockchain developer from Boston.
I'm passionate about innovative technologies and how to build them. Whether it's developing full stack applications, websites, or something new for the web, I strive to combine stellar design with optimal UI/UX. - Designed Google Arts & Culture’s first digital exhibits on global governance, business, and economics case studies: Exhibits Page
- Leveraged Google Earth & 360-degree StreetView media across all pages.
- Created promotional video, marketing, and PR assets.

- Aided faculty on commerce/taxation research for the U.S. government.
- Designed the logo and marketing materials for a Smithsonian exhibit.

ScreentimeBU2019 is the yearly, peer-reviewed conference organized by the Emerging Media Studies graduate program of Boston University's College of Communication. The theme of this year's conference was the "Borderless World: Redefining Human Connections."- My research presentation focused around a content analysis of 2018 Congressional websites and the dialogic loops of communication that are and are not utilized across 44 variables spanning 5 quantifiable constructs.

- Created a series of blockchain educational videos on the tokenization of the real estate market.

- Worked closely with the development and management teams to lead the design, development, and documentation of the company's investment platform and portal.
- Designed weekly wireframes and mockups for the tech team to fuel the development of the platform.
Website Developer @ Boston University
Winter 2018 - Summer 2019
- Re-created and designed an outdated WordPress website into a dynamic, modernized SquareSpace website for Boston University's Social Learning Lab at the Wheelock School of Education.
- Built all image assets and embedded video assets throughout the website to make the pages dynamic and interactive, while enhancing the usability of the website.
- Supported and led the migration of content and information from WordPress to SquareSpace.

In a partnership between the Harvard Kennedy School's Project on American Indian Economic Development (HPAIED) and Google Arts & Culture, I helped with building digital, 3D, and virtually-immersive exhibits on Google's platform. The exhibits covered topics from government performance to community/economic development and serve as a toolkit for global government best practices.

CoronaTracker
CoronaTracker is a progressive web application that lets users monitor and track their COVID-19 symptoms and health information while learning about the virus. The daily symptom tracker has both quantiative and qualitiative questions, and a flashcards section provides quick ways to learn about COVID. The app was featured in Decrypt, Innovative@BU, and more.

A decentralized real estate marketplace built on the Rinkeby Ethereum blockchain network. A token was minted to verify ownership of the properties on the blockchain and a verification system was created with zk-SNARKs to prove ownership without revealing specific information on the property.

FlightSurety
FlightSurety is a decentralized application on flight delay insurance for passengers with oracles provide flight status information for the contract. It's managed as a collaboration between airlines, giving passenters the ability to purchase insurance prior to a flight. If the flight is delayed because of the airline, the passengers are paid 1.5X the amount they paid for the insurance.

With an exponential increase in adoption, developer interest, and other teams building on top of Ethereum, there has never been a better time to be a part of the community, building Web 3.0.
SportBLX
An investment platform that's turning athletes and sports franchises into investable asset classes. I worked closely with designers and the management team to lead the design, development, and documentation of the company's investment platform and portal, as well as designed weekly wireframes and mockups for the tech team to fuel the development of the platform.
